A legendary publication in the history of photography, William Klein’s New York Is Good & Good for You (1956) made him an international sensation. Rereleased with photos from the original book and new work from his personal collection, New York 1954.55 (Manchester, England: Dewi Lewis, 1995) showcases how Klein redefined the art of photography.

In A Queer Geography (New York: Crown Publishing, 1996), author Frank Browning maps the regional influences on the rites and rituals of gay men. Browning’s quest takes him from Kentucky to Italy, all the while raising social and psychological questions about gay life.
