Maurice Chammah

Maurice Chammah is a staff writer at the Marshall Project, where he covers the US criminal justice system. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, and elsewhere, and he was a Fulbright fellow in Egypt from 2011-2012. He is working on a book about the history of the death penalty in Texas, his home state.
