His face lit by the phone in his hand, a boy texts with family members in Homs, Syria, the site of some of the worst fighting in his country’s three-year civil war. The teen was one of 100 or so refugees photographer Liam Maloney found living in an abandoned slaughterhouse in northern Lebanon.
